Get all of the fresh, local and organic foods that you can grow!  Grow enough food in your own yard or in outdoor containers for the same effort as it takes to shop for it in a store!  This course will teach you how to grow a healthy, bountiful supply of food from your own home, no matter how small your home is.  Topics covered include: creating the optimal soil mix, choosing appropriate varieties, companion planting, pest control, and learning the planting schedules in order to produce the greatest harvest from almost any garden.

Meditation and Body Awareness for Healing

PREPARE THIS FALL WITH A SOUND BODY AND MIND

They go hand in hand. As soon as we slow down and breathe, we focus better. As soon as we focus better, we sense our bodies completely, with care and love. Learn how to do this more readily, anywhere, anytime. This is a great way to learn body awareness meditation techniques.

Workshop Series is as follows:

  • Week 1 Introduction: breath, focus, body zones & Past vs Present, Chakra zones, Relationships plus Meditation Time
  • Week 2 Small vs Large pain, illness, disease & Acute vs Chronic Imbalance &  Linking together pain sites, triggers, events, and places plus Meditation Time
  • Week 3 Remedies for energy level healing: when food and sleep is not enough & Putting it all together, practicing the full body scan & mini meditations plus Meditation Time
  • Week 4 Recap of Lessons. Question & Answer of discovery journal & journey plus Meditation Time

In each session, we will do a lesson, a guided scan of the body, meditation, and then wrap up with another body scan.

 

Please bring:
Blanket
Yoga Matt or small carpet & pillow
Water

And:
Wear comfortable clothes

Recommended for all fitness levels.
Gentle class. Various meditation techniques will be discussed & offered.
Excellent for stress relief, anxiety, tension, and insomnia support.
