Free Seed Library - Etobicoke Eco Hub
Posted by Janelle Carriere on

Did you know there’s a FREE Seed Library in Etobicoke? It's located at your favourite Eco Hub, the Healing Muse Apothecary!
Our Free Seed Library is open 7 days a week and the seeds are 100% free. We think this is a wonderful resource for gardeners and plant lovers alike!
How does it work?
Gardeners in the community bring us their extra seeds after planting season. We make sure they don’t go to waste by sharing them with the rest of the community!
Donating Leftover Seeds
We’re always looking for seeds!
If you have extra or leftover seeds that you would like to donate to the Free Seed Library, you can drop them off at our Eco Hub, the Healing Muse Apothecary 7 days/week.
To save time, bring them in labeled envelopes with the name of the seeds and what year you grew them.

Time to get planting!
When you’re ready to plant your garden, stop by the Healing Muse Apothecary to pick up your own free seeds!
It’s common for us to have everything from brassicas, flowers, grasses, grains, beans, legumes, vegetables, herbs, and more!
You might even discover some plants you’ve never thought about growing!
Receiving Free Seeds by Mail
That’s right, you can even receive free seeds by mail!
All you have to do is send us a self-stamped and self-addressed envelope. Please note which seeds you’re looking for in particular. If you’re not sure, we’ll send you a random assortment of garden vegetables and flowers!
