When we forage (seek out foods that grow locally, naturally in our surroundings), we are directly connected to the Earth. We are benefiting directly from the nutrients that the plants produce in response to the environment around them.
Wild growing plants tend to build up chemical reserves and protection to new invaders whether animal, bacterial, fungal or viral. Often times, we can directly benefit from these new chemical complexes locally grown plants store within their walls (this is why essential oils are so beneficial to so many various ailments in us).
Foraging for wild grown ‘food’ is an ancient old way of living well off the land.
Join us online for this live foraging walk so you can learn at your own pace from the comfort of your own home.
